What is one of the top mistakes guys make when writing their dating profile?

They rush it, throw it up there and never go back to it.

Big mistake.

Why the rush?

Because for most guys, it’s a painful process.

Writing about ourselves is not easy.

You know what else makes it hard?

Not feeling good about what you’re writing.

Putting yourself on display for women to view and evaluate is tough.

That alone gets us in our head, not to mention stuck trying to balance honesty with bragging.

What’s the solution?

Take your time.

And build it.

Sure, get something up there so you can get started but come back to it.

And here’s the key – work on your life.

If you feel your profile isn’t impressive, it’s probably because you’re not living your best life.

What is something you’ve always wanted to do but never pursued?

Learn how to speak French?

Jump out of an airplane?

Do it.

Then write about it.

Also, pay attention to women’s profiles.

I get ideas and words I like from other profiles.

Writing these are hard and we need all the help we can get.

Your dating profile is a dynamic thing.  It should evolve as you do.

Don’t think of it as a “one and done” because the results you get from it will be similarly fleeting.

Build it over time and she will come.
